Build your own smoker using a heavy duty 11 gauge LavaLock® Fire Box for Offset, Horizontal or Cabinet style cookers. This is a complete, ready to use firebox, simply Weld on or Bolt on to your homemade cooker, tank, drum or modify to fit your existing cooker.. This is also a great replacement firebox for many cookers where the firebox has oxidized and burned through or fallen off. Features a cool touch handle, warming plate and internal charcoal grate / fire grate & internal cooking grate. Built to Last! MADE IN USA
LavaLock® Fire Boxes can also be used as a replacement firebox for many smokers including Oklahoma Joe's, Char-griller, Charbroil, Old Country, etc. Fireboxes might need to get slightly modified to fit if you are using it on an existing smoker or grill. Additionally, flanges or throat openings might need to be modified to fit. Once modified these fire boxes are non returnable. These are complete with coal grate, warming plate, handles, paint etc. Weld on versions will require a paint removal in the areas that you need to weld. This is a DIY fire box for the intermediate level builder or backyard bbq smoker enthusiast. This is NOT a easy or novice modification part. IT is an upgrade to some of the cheaper and thinner gauge units found on entry level BBQ smoker pits.
