I used this to seal the door of a vertical smoker. I cleaned the inside door face with Mineral Spirits to remove all oils and grease then Alcohol to make sure it was completely free of any residue. The glue side stuck instantly and after a few seconds pressing there is no way it will come off. Works great to seal in the smoke and keep out the air. Great product.

I have a Oklahoma Joe Highland smoker and the cook chamber door is uneven the nomex lavalock help create a tight seal around the cook chamber keeping the heat inside the grill. I highly recommend using the nomex to help seal in leaks.

Great product easy to use. No glue needed

Works great with my homemade smoker. Door was not cut perfect so needed a gasket to seal cook chamber door better. This solved the problem. Just make sure you use sharp knife and piece of wood to help cut though the tough nomex. Peel backing off of section at a time as you lay it on. Once on in seconds it's stuck and not coming off.great product highly recommended if you need to seal up door better.
